If you have a Samsung or LG-branded smart TV, then you’ll be happy to know that you don’t need to buy an Apple TV or attach a plethora of unsightly dongles to your iPhone or iPad to mirror its display to the TV. New App Store apps called Mirror for Samsung TV and Mirror for LG TV, both developed by AirBeamTV BV, let you wirelessly broadcast your iOS 11 device’s screen to supported Smart TVs with ease.

Because I have a Samsung Smart TV, this tutorial will focus on the Mirror for Samsung TV app, but you should expect a similar user experience from the Mirror for LG TV app. For these apps to work, both your iPhone/iPad and Smart TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If they are, then you’re ready to begin; otherwise, take care of that first. How to see your iPhone screen on a Samsung Smart TV After all your devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, follow these steps to mirror your iPhone or iPad’s display on your Samsung Smart TV: 1) Download and install the Mirror for Samsung TV app via the App Store (a $4.

99 value). 2) Launch the app from your Home screen. 3) Wait for your Samsung smart TV to appear in the list of available television sets, then tap on it: 4) Your Samsung TV will ask if you want your device to connect. Using your TV remote, highlight the Allow option and press the OK/Select button: 5) The app will now ask you to enable the Screen Recording module in Control Center and enable Access Within Apps.

6) Go to Settings → Control Center and enable the Access Within Apps toggle switch: 7) Open the Customize Controls cell and turn on the Screen Recording module for Control Center. 8) Return to the Mirror for Samsung TV app and continue through the prompts by tapping on the buttons at the bottom of the screen: 9) You will be asked to enable push notifications; this lets the app tell you when you connect and disconnect.

You can decide. 10) After completing the prompts, you’re taken to the YouTube app to test the mirroring feature. Start by searching for something you want to watch on the big screen: 11) Next, open Control Center and use a 3D Touch gesture (tap and hold on unsupported devices) on the Screen Recording module: 12) Next, choose the Mirror Samsung TV option instead of the Camera Roll option, and tap on Start Broadcast: And just like that, you should see your iOS device’s screen on your Samsung smart TV after a short delay: Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Or something like that… How to stop broadcasting When you’re ready to quit mirroring your iPhone or iPad’s screen to your Samsung Smart TV, merely open Control Center and tap on the Screen Recording toggle button: You will receive another banner notification alerting you that the broadcast has stopped. When you see it, you’ve finished mirroring your display. What you need to know As nifty as the Mirror for Samsung TV app is, there are a few caveats you should know about before getting it.

Most important of all is how this only works with Samsung Smart TVs manufactured from 2012 and onward. If you’re unsure of what you have, the developers recommend checking the model type printed on the back of your TV unit: This works on any Samsung Smart TV from the 2012 models onward. Which model year do you have? You can see that by looking at the middle letter in your model type (on the back of your Samsung TV).

E = 2012F = 2013H = 2014J = 2015K = 2016M = 2017 For instance: UE55_E_S8000 = 2012.UE78_H_U8500L = 2014. If you’re using the Mirror for LG TV app, then things are a little more complicated. The developers recommend trying the free trial app to make sure your TV is compatible. Other tidbits to be aware of include: iOS 11 is required, as the app relies on system resources that aren’t available in iOS 10 and earlier There’s a 1-3 second delay between your iOS device’s screen and the mirror on your Samsung Smart TV Audio playback will not mirror to your Smart TV when broadcasting from Safari; it comes from your device instead You need to begin mirroring after you launch the app you intend to mirror, otherwise switching apps stops audio playback on your TV Some apps block mirroring for DRM purposes, like Netflix – there isn’t a workaround for this These apps only support Samsung and LG Smart TVs – no other brands Wrapping up With all things considered, Mirror for Samsung TV and Mirror for LG TV could each be useful utility apps if you have related Smart TVs in your home.

Worthy of note, Mirror for Samsung TV is available for $4.99 from the App Store, while Mirror for LG TV is available for $9.99 from the App Store. Each of these apps can save you from purchasing an even pricier Apple TV to mirror your iPhone or iPad’s display wirelessly, and it also keeps you from connecting endless cables and dongles to your iPhone to initiate an HDMI connection. If you plan to view a YouTube video here and there or browse the web on the big screen, then you might like what the app has to offer.

Gamers and power users that can’t deal with a little bit of a latency delay, on the other hand, should probably steer clear. What are your thoughts about these convenient iOS screen mirroring apps for specific Smart TVs? Share in the comments below!

The primary goal of contemporary pc screen savers is amusement and from time to time even, security. However, they ended up originally created to avert phosphor burn-in on plasma laptop or computer displays at the same time as CRT equipment. Display savers assisted to circumvent these damaging effects by instantly altering the photographs in the event the pc was not getting used.

Let me explain to you of the brain boosting strategy I'd stumbled on soon after loading an exceedingly large number of photographs into My Pictures file, which was mechanically hooked, perhaps like your laptop established up, to my monitor saver method. Immediately after sitting down and looking at it someday, I mentioned how it spurred on my mind and improved my spatial reasoning prior to creating periods. It genuinely aided and that i was shocked.

That small screen is not enough. When you connect your iPhone or iPad to tv then you will see an excitement in you. Now you are so eager to watch your pics and videos on the big television screen. The images or videos on the television screen are more clear than on your iPhone or iPad.3 Ways to connect your iPhone or iPad to TVWAY 1: – Connect a HDMI cableHDMI cables transfer the multi-media files or packets very quickly from one device to another.

When you use these cables latency takes place between your iDevice and TV.You cannot simply connect a HDMI cable to your iPhone or iPad as it doesn’t have a HDMI port. You need to buy a Lightning Digital AV Adapter. It is available on Apple official site.Get a HDMI cable which is long enough to connect your iDevice and TV.Using this adapter and HDMI cable you can connect to a TV, Projector, or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD.

The image appears faster on your iDevice and after a few milliseconds, the same image appears on your TV screen. This is called latency.Connect the adapter to your iPhone.Attach the HDMI cable to the Adapter and to your TV or projector. You are almost done with this simple steps.Turn on your TV and select the HDMI mode. The TV replicates your iPhone or iPad screen. Now open what you want to. Images, apps, games, videos etc are displayed on your TV.

Remember about the latency, this doesn’t matter with images or videos. But when you play games, for sure you will see this as a problem. You will see “Game over” many times.Note:- Use only branded items as they provide good quality for good money.WAY 2: – Use AirPlayOnly Apple TV users can access this option. Get an Apple TV which is like a setup box. This process is called screen mirroring in android users language.

You can escape all this wire and setup using the simple airplay option on your iPhone or iPad.Connect the Apple tv on the same network where your iPhone or iPad is connected.Open any pic, video, app, game to mirror your iOS device screen on your TV.Launch control center(swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone or iPad screen).Tap Airplay mirroring => select Apple TV.Now your Tv starts to show to the same screen which is on your iOS device.

You can start playing games, watch movies, videos which are on your iPhone.WAY 3: – Connect using Chrome castYou can use a TV stick like chrome cast. There are many other TV sticks on market, but here I will discuss the google chrome cast. This TV stick will give you access to the internet with ease.Note:- You cannot screen mirror your iOS device screen. But, it is easy to connect using your iOS device and an app with it.

These dongles are slow and often get stuck while playing videos. This option may not be adviced as there many other problems faced while using these TV sticks.Buy and connect the TV stick in the back of your TV.Download chrome cast app on your iOS device. The more specific steps are provided here.Sophia Gill, I am a seniority on the android and ios movie experience.Answered 99w ago · Author has 292 answers and 632k answer viewsConnect an iPhone With HDMI or Composite Cables You can connect iOS devices to a TV in a few different ways.

One of the easiest and most reliable methods is to use a wired connection. If you have an HDTV with an available HDMI port, you can purchase an Apple Digital AV adapter. Plug the adapter into your device’s 30-pin iPod connector. Plug one end of an HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the adapter, and the other end into an available HDMI port on your TV. Switch your TV to the appropriate HDMI input. For earlier models such as the iPhone 4, the original iPad, or the fourth-generation iPod Touch, the display won’t be mirrored, but it will show photos and videos in supported apps once you start playing them on the device.

The adapter also replicates the iPod connector, so you can charge your device while playing the content. If your TV doesn’t support HDMI, or if it doesn’t have an available connection, you can link your device to the set through an analog connection, using an Apple Composite AV cable. Plug the adapter into your device’s 30-pin iPod connector. Plug the yellow video cable at the end of the adapter into an available analog video port on your TV.

Plug the red and white audio cables at the end of the adapter into the red and white audio ports corresponding to the yellow video input on your TV. Tune your TV to the appropriate composite video input. The display won’t be mirrored, but it will show photos and videos in supported apps once you start playing them on the device. Connect an iPhone to an HDTV With AirPlay or DLNA If you prefer, you can connect your device to your TV wirelessly, through a couple of different technologies.

Apple developed a wireless technology called AirPlay specifically for streaming content from iOS devices to other devices that support it. 1. Make sure that your iPhone is on the same wireless network as your other AirPlay devices. 2. On your iPhone, double-tap the Home button. 3. Swipe the list that appears to the right, until you get to the volume and AirPlay settings. 4. Tap the AirPlay button to bring up a list of supported AirPlay devices on your network.

5. Tap the device to which you would like to stream. A TV icon next to the device indicates that you can stream images, video, and/or audio, while a speaker icon indicates that you can stream only audio. In the example below, we selected our Denon AVR receiver. If you have a second-generation Apple TV and an iPhone 4S, you can select Mirroring here to mirror your device’s display to your TV wirelessly.

6. Open the app with the content you would like to stream, and begin playing. In our example below, we used the Spotify app to stream music to the receiver. If you don't want to shell out for an AirPlay-capable device, you may be able to use DLNA instead. These days, many modern TVs support streaming from a local network (wired or wireless) via the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) standard. If your TV supports DLNA (or sometimes just "UPnP") streaming, you can use your iPhone as a DLNA server.

Just download and install a DLNA-server app--Media:connect, for example--and you're good to go. Note: You have to make sure the movie format is compatible to Samsung TV. If not, do not hesitate to convert movies for playing on Samsung TV with an awesome video converter like iFastime Video Converter Ultimate.Kenneth StrongAnswered 16w agoDownload the Smart View on your phone and it should automatically connect your phone to the TV, screen mirroring allows you to mirror your mobile device's content to your TV screen.
