J7 Screen Not Working But Phone Is Responding Problem: my screen is not working but still responding like i am receiving phone calls and even i can answer by scrolling on correct spot . before my cellphone fell for 2-3 times and there was some error occured on screen (whenever i put my screen light to very dim/low  its half screen start getting  blink with different colour and when its very low battery same things happened )but it was still working good but last 2 days before my iron fell on it ,like not from the height just fell on upper side of screen because my iron was kept beside my galaxy j7 .

so after that this issue occurred . i just want to know do we get original screen from store and if yes where? Solution: It appears that the display has already been physically damaged. The best thing that you can do in a situation like this is to bring the phone to a service center since they will have the correct tools available to replace the display. In case you would like to replace the display yourself then I suggest that you first watch some tutorial over at YouTube on how to replace the display of this particular device.

If the procedure looks easy then just order the correct display of your device from eBay or other online stores. You should also make sure to have the correct tools available to perform this procedure. J7 Has Lightning Bolt With Caution Sign When Charging Problem: Hello, just recently (about 2 hours prior), my phone (Galaxy J7 Duos) shut down due to its battery running out. I went home and recharged it, but the screen went from the battery with a lightning bolt to the battery with a caution sign, then the phone vibrates, then it reboots and do the same thing over again.

My phone haven’t been fully charged for about two days, just halfway through since I had to travel abroad. Is there anything I can do without purchasing a new battery? Solution: You can try the following troubleshooting steps listed below. Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port gets removed. Try charging the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger.

To check if the problem is caused by a software glitch you should do a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then this could already be a hardware related problem most likely caused by a faulty battery, charging port, or power IC. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Screen Is Flickering Problem: My phone samsung galaxy j7…i often have problem with the screen flickering issue..whenever my mobile is in low brightness i can see the flickering of screen but when on full brightness it not there…plz solve the problem!! Related Problem: My j7 screen is continuously flickering very fast in low backlight, but when increasing the brightness flickering won’t been seen.

Will it damage my screen in future. service centre said they are going to charge rs 7000 for this. I am unable to pay such a huge amount Solution: There’s a possibility that this screen flickering is caused by a software glitch. To check if this is the case follow the troubleshooting steps listed below. Start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run.

Check if the problem occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the problem still occurs. In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might already be a hardware related issue.

Try to disable the auto brightness feature of the phone then check if the screen still flickers. If it doesn’t then this might be due to a faulty sensor. Another factor that can cause this problem is the uneven distribution of power the AMOLED cells thus causing the display to flicker. The best thing to do in case this is already a hardware related problem is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Not Turning On If Disconnected From Charger Problem: My phone was 100% charged. When I disconnected the charger, the screen went black. No matter which buttons I pressed, it won’t turn back on. But everything was fine when I reconnected my charger. And when the charger was disconnected, the whole thing happened again. Why did this happen? How do I fix it. Thanks Solution: It looks like the phone has a faulty battery or power IC.

If you have the model that has a removable battery then try replacing the battery with a new one. Otherwise, just bring your phone to a service center and have it checked. J7 Not Turning On After Getting Wet Problem: my phone fell in water and then after a few hours my screen went black….i turned it on….it did twice but then again it turned off and now isn’t turning on anymore…all my switches were working…just the screen went black.

Solution: If your phone came into contact with water then the first thing that you should do is to wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth. In case you own the model with the removable battery then you should take this out from the phone. Take out the SIM card and microSD card as well then place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. If you own the model that has a non-removable battery then just proceed by placing the phone in a bag of rice for 48 hours.

The rice will absorb any moisture inside the phone. Once this is done try to check if the phone can turn on. If the issue remains then it might already be water damaged in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked. J7 Calls Get Dropped Problem: I purchased a new Samsung J7 from IN HiFi today, charged the phone, then made a few calls. On the third Call my phone just dropped out after a minute and then again a second time after a minute or so.

It’s very frustrating as I just got rid of my galaxy s5 as it was doing the same thing Solution: The first thing that you should do in this particular case is to restart the phone. This will reset the phone connection to the network and refresh the phone software. In case the issue still occurs after this then try to check if this is a carrier related problem by inserting the SIM card to another phone then make a call with this other phone.

In case the call gets dropped then you will need to contact your carrier regarding this matter. If the issue does not occur with the SIM inserted in another phone then what you will want to do is to reinsert the SIM card to the J7 then perform a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs.

If it does then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked. The first purpose of up to date personal computer monitor savers is enjoyment and at times even, safety. Even so, they ended up initially designed to avert phosphor burn-in on plasma laptop or computer displays in addition as CRT equipment. Monitor savers helped to stop these unfavorable effects by mechanically altering the photographs in the event the computer wasn't getting used.

Allow me to explain to you of the mind maximizing technique I'd stumbled upon just after loading a really massive range of photos into My Pictures file, which was automatically hooked, perhaps like your personal computer established up, to my screen saver program. After sitting and seeing it someday, I pointed out the way it spurred on my mind and amplified my spatial reasoning ahead of creating classes. It definitely assisted and i was surprised.

The A series of smartphones are upper mid range devices developed by #Samsung that are similar to the S series in design but have lower specifications. One of the models in this series is the #Galaxy #A5 which uses a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED display, has an IP68 certification making it water resistant, and has a great 16MP f/1.9 rear camera. This is a solid phone which is being used by a lot of consumers right now.

There are however instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the Galaxy A5 screen not working after getting wet issue & other related problems. A5 Screen Not Working After Getting Wet Problem: Hello.

I have recently encountered this problem with my Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). After it had direct contact with water, the phone suddenly turned off, which of course shouldn’t happen since as we both probably know, the phone is supposed to be waterproof. After a while the phone seems to be on, as I can definitely hear the notification sound, but the screen is turned off, as well as the back button, only the recent button is somehow on, sometimes is flashing, but everything tied to touching the screen seems non-responsive.

For the moment I can’t afford getting either a new phone or pay a tech to check it out, so I have to resort on trying to fix it with your help. Related Problem: Hi. I have a samsung A5 2017 and yesterday I tried to take some photos under water (at sea). It worked perfectly for 15 minutes, I took it out and let it dry for 10 minutes and then again in water. After another 5 minutes the screen stopped responding: it would turn on, I could even take photos (all the buttons work perfectly), but the screen wouldn’t respond when I touch it.

Is there anything I could do?? Solution: Although this phone has  a water resistant feature it’s still possible that it can get water damaged. This usually occurs when the phone has a broken water seal which allows water to seep into the phone. What you will want to do in this case is to turn the phone off then wipe the exterior part with a cloth making sure that the phone is dry. Since moisture is most likely present inside the device what you will want to do next is to place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours.

The rice will absorb the moisture inside the phone. Once this is done start the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If the issue still persists after this then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked since the display might be water damaged. A5 Not Getting Software Update Problem: Hi, 6 months ago I bought Samsung Galaxy A5 2017, but already having problems with it.

First of all, I am unable to update software; if I go to manually update (from settings) it doesn’t even searches for new updates, doesn’t register that I tapped on “manually update”. Second, when I want to download some app it comes to 100% and stays like that. Install is finished hours later or even a day. Sometimes is not at all. Third, it doesn’t want to make a phone call always, I’m pressing name or call sign and about 5 min later starts calling, not immediately.

Also, I am unable to copy/paste. I did the reset but made no difference. Thank you for your help! Solution: There are several conditions that your phone must meet in order for it to get the official software updates. The phone should not be rooted The phone should not be running on a custom software If you had the phone unlocked then it should be running on its original network. In case your phone meets the above listed conditions and it is still not getting updates then backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Once the reset is complete try updating your phone again. It’s also recommended that you use Smart Switch in updating your device. If the update fails then you should consider manually flashing the updated firmware file to your device. You can get the file from the Sammobile website which is also where you can get the instructions on how to flash your phone. A5 Is Not Charging Problem: Hello. My phone is out of power and I tried everything to charge it.

It now remains dead and I can’t even try anything at all to even see a charging symbol appear. I bought a new phone charger today from Carphone Warehouse where they tested it and they ended up bringing up a charging symbol. But now where I have the charger back home, nothing is happening at all. I still see no power at all and no signs of the phone charging. The phone recently had a software update too.

And it isn’t even long since I bought the device. I really need this phone but now it isn’t working. Solution: What you should do first right now is to clean the charging port of the phone making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port gts removed. Try using a can of compressed air to clean the port. Once this is done try charging the phone for at least 20 minutes using the new charger.

If the phone still does not charge then perform a simulated battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Once this is done try charging the phone again. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. In case the issue persists then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as the problem could be caused by a faulty battery or a faulty charging port.

A5 Not Fast Charging Problem: Hi. I dropped my phone while it was charging and now my A5 (2017) phone will not fast charge. It charges, but it isn’t fast charging and the wire is very loose. I tried using another cord, And it had fast charging on that cord. Is this an issue with my cord? Or is there now a problem with my charging port? I’m still under warranty so I was wondering if it could be replaced.

( I had the same issue with my S3, but I’m scared that if i use another cord it will become loose, as my every single one of my s3 chargers did after I dropped it.) Solution: If you have tried using a different cord and the phone still does not fast charge then this might already be a problem with the charging port since you mentioned that it is also loose. The best thing to do right now is to have the port checked at a service center.

It’s possible that this port will have to be replaced. A5 Not Turning On Problem: Woke up in the morning and I realised the phone had shut down and won’t turn back on. Thought it may have needed charging so plugged it in to charge but nothing happened even after an hour. I already tried all the steps of holding down the power key and volume down key etc. But nothing happened. It’s a Samsung galaxy A5 2016 and the battery cannot be removed.

Solution: What you will want to do right now is to make sure that the battery has sufficient charge to turn on the phone by following the steps listed below. Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed. Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.

Turn on the phone. If the issue persists then you need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked. A5 Deletes Files From Phone And microSD Card Problem: Hi there I just bought an 8gb Kingston SD card for my Samsung Galaxy A5 today. I mounted it and moved some video files to the sd card to free up some space on my phone’s memory. After the file transfer was completed I went to delete the files from the phone only and it deleted them off both the phone and sd card.

I was hoping you could help me so this doesn’t happen in again in the future with more important things such as my pictures on the phone which I can’t afford to lose. Thanks Solution: Did you delete the video files from the Gallery app? If you did this then there’s a chance that you were deleting them from the microSD card. Here’s what most likely happened in this scenario. When you transferred the file from the phone internal memory to the microSD card you probably used the move command.

This will delete the file from the internal memory and transfer it to the microSD card. The Gallery app will still detect the file you moved but this time it is reading it from the microSD card and not from the internal storage. If you use the Gallery app to delete the file ( which you think is still stored in the internal storage) it is in fact deleting the file from the microSD card. The best way to check if you are deleting the correct file is to use a file manager app since you will know the precise location where the file is stored.
