Note 5 Screen Saver

Picture of Note 5 Screen Saver

ProsNo stability issues, seems not to interfere with other programs ConsGraphics are poor, malware loaded on SummaryNAV did away with the spyware no problem, but be aware it's there. Grahics are poor, and while options are many, none improve it very much. don't bother with this so called software. ProsCool looking fire ConsNot free, and they don't tell you until you've already installed it. Don't download. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   ProsIf it was as you, CNET Editor say, a normal screensaver for normal people, evaluation version, 1 fireplace only then the graphics are good, cozy ConsBut it's not.

An ad keeps appearing effectively destroying the "evaluation". What is there to evaluate? One ad during and one ad after you close it. Eh, nice ads, bravo. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   ProsGraphics are good.

Flames quite realistic ConsConstant nag screens..Plays for only a few minutes then nag screen blocks most of the display SummaryBottom line, "it ain't free" Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   ProsA good laugh.

ConsIt wasn't realist or 3D at all. It tried to install something else but I declined. You can't full screen without buying it not that you would want to. SummaryDon't bother downloading. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   Prosfireplace sounds are realistic Consnot a very realistic presentation.

There is an option to purchase the full product si things might be better with the purchased version Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   ProsLots of controls to alter the look of the flame.

ConsStill looks like a cheap fireplace animation. Crackling sound quickly gets annoying. Slow to load. Constantly asking for money. SummaryI'm really not sure what they feel looks "realistic" about this fireplace screensaver. Realistic animation maybe, but it neither looks nor sounds like a real fire. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   ProsI loved it,very realistic cracking fire sounds! You could almost smell the fire itself.

.. ConsCaused a conflict with one of my installed programs, and had to delete it from my system. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? 012   012   ProsEasy to download ConsNever ran properly.

Locked up when trying to access the options. After several minutes and launching another screen saver, all I got was the roaring fire sound in the background that was very difficult to kill. SummaryBeware that this product may not work properly in its "free" mode. Reply to this review Was this review helpful? -101   -101   Please Wait

The primary reason of contemporary pc screen savers is leisure and at times even, safety. Nevertheless, they were being initially meant to avert phosphor burn-in on plasma pc screens also as CRT units. Monitor savers assisted to stop these detrimental consequences by instantly altering the pictures in the event the pc wasn't being used.

Allow me to tell you of a brain enhancing method I'd stumbled on immediately after loading an incredibly big amount of photographs into My Pictures file, which was quickly hooked, potentially like your computer set up, to my monitor saver software. Immediately after sitting down and viewing it at some point, I mentioned the way it spurred on my mind and amplified my spatial reasoning prior to planning sessions. It actually served and that i was stunned.

Hi Rhonda, Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities. I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should. Please follow the below steps to turn off screen saver and check if it works: Step 1: Open Registry Editor. To do so, type Regedit in Start menu or taskbar search box and then press Enter key. Registry Editor can also be launched by typing Regedit in Run command box and pressing Enter key.

Step 2: In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop Step 3: On the right-side, look for the entry named ScreenSaveActive, double-click on it, and set the value to 1 (one) to enable screen saver and make it 0 (zero) to disable. Note that if the ScreenSaveActive string value doesn’t exist, right-click on the empty area, click New, click String Value and name it ScreenSaveActive.

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly.
